I took a few screen shots just in case someone cleans up the page.

Although The Great Emu War in Australia was a travesty of sorts, I hope this reminds everyone not to always take what you read on Wikipedia as gospel.

Hotel stays in Singapore don't come by cheap, but at least with Pan Pacific Singapore you have the assurance that the room would be extremely comfortable and nothing short of luxurious even for the most basic of deluxe rooms. It was my first time here and although it was 3 nights, I'm glad to say it was a very pleasant stay indeed.

On my last day, I'd intended to order some dishes from Hai Tien Lo, Pan Pac's famed Chinese restaurant, but being pressed for time I settled for comfort food - the quintessential beef burger.

The burger was quite sumptuous, actually. While dry on some parts, I appreciated the full-bodied beefiness of the patty and technique used in pounding the beef into just the right texture. The fries were thick, hot and crisp. I only wish I had some HP sauce with me to make the entire meal that little bit better.Marchttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03415718582003583880noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882381698441852967.post-68133131471041655532011-05-24T14:02:00.000+01:002011-05-24T14:24:46.796+01:00Pan Pacific Hotels - The Ideal Luxurious Business Class HotelI'd just like to get off my chest how glad I am that the company I'm working in gave me my first taste of 5-star luxurious living during my recent trip

This is a shot I took from my last trip to a Pan Pacific hotel. I really enjoyed my stay there and even got a complimentary room upgrade because, apparently, I am now a Platinum member of sorts. This also allegedly allows me to book out at 3pm - which is great, because now I can squeeze in a morning meeting and luncheon before heading back to the hotel and rushing off to the Suvarnabhumi Airport. In case you didn't know, that is the official name of the main airport in Bangkok - which has drawn a lot of flak from locals and foreigners alike. You can see why though, it looks half-done and poorly planned.
